Diesel & Motor Mechanics

The NATED N1-N3 Motor Mechanics qualication is a qualication from Levels N1-N3 focusing on the theory of motor mechanics in motor trade and diesel theory. This qualication meets the academic requirements for you to write your trade test once you have acquired the required practical hours. This qualication consists of one compulsory part (N1-N3 theory) and two optional practical parts, beginners’ level (done between N1-N3) and advanced (can be done after N3). Practical skills are crucial for engineering studies. Employers have expressed that graduate are well prepared in theory but lack the practical skills when applying engineering concepts in practice. With this recent industry drive, our own internal focus on practical integration to make our students more employable, we now oer a practical module for our main engineering study industries as an optional extra. Each practical module is designed to support the student in practically applying their theory thus increasing their employment opportunities and understanding of their work.
